We had the pleasure of meeting Shady this past weekend. Shady, a 9 year old Labrador/Boxer/Pit Bull mix, is a sweet, loving dog with all the energy and enthusiasm of a puppy. Along with his family - Shauna, Trevor and Cameron – we spent a truly enjoyable morning at the park chasing balls, running through the splash pads, and taking plenty of breaks in the shade on what was quickly becoming a fairly hot day.

Shady’s eagerness and fun-loving personality was quick to show itself. As soon as Shauna launched his favourite ball, Shady took off like a cannonball across the park. He was so swift that I had to immediately adjust my technique for taking action shots.

Shady loves the water, and though there was no nearby opportunity for swimming, we did manage to take advantage of the splash pads in the park.

We had some quiet moments as well and Shady was more than happy to pose for some portrait shots.
